So one day we're sitting inside, listening to some vinyl, drinking tea
- being rock'n'roll, and this essential question slaps us in the mush. What do we do with most of our time?
- Go to gigs
- Talk about bands
- Buy music
- Dance
- Drink
Now apart from having fun whilst occupying ourselves with these activities,
we couldn't help but notice that "serving the our local community" wasn't on our current agenda...
Ergo, What She Said was born. A London based e-zine that not only brings
to eye, mind and ear the most innovative indie music around, but also one that isn't going to rave about every band going,
because who wants that? We've seen that before and brown tongues never were that pretty. We all know that it's
not about sweetness and the light, it's about the bitter and the dark 'n' heavy and we're the girls that are going to stand
and deliver. Promise.
P.S.
And if anyone can help us come up with a less cheesy mission
statement, then feel free to click onto the Contact Us page and type away...

Click here for Cynthia's official website with more details: www.geocities.com/cynthiasball
And watch this space for a review of dj Ket. |
